Amend My Ticket is a law practice service of [Business Law Counseling, LLC] (“we,” “us,” “our”), led by attorney Bruce Sloan. This policy explains what information we collect when you contact us through amendmyticket.com, by phone, by text, or by email, and how we handle it.

We use your information to:

·       Review your ticket or charge and give you a quote

·       Represent you if you hire us, including communicating with prosecutors and courts

How we share information

We share your information only as needed to handle your matter, for example with the court or prosecutor on your case. We also use trusted service providers to run our practice, such as our phone and texting provider, email, and secure document storage. We will not share your mobile phone number, text messaging consent, or opt-in information with any third party or affiliate for their marketing or promotional purposes.

We may disclose information if a law, court order, or our professional obligations as attorneys require it.

Confidentiality

Once we represent you, your information is also protected by the attorney’s duty of confidentiality under the Missouri Rules of Professional Conduct.

Contacting us or sending your ticket does not by itself create an attorney-client relationship. That relationship begins only when we agree to represent you.

How we protect and keep information

We use reasonable safeguards, including password-protected accounts and secure storage, to protect your information. We keep client records as long as needed for your case and as required for law-practice recordkeeping, and then dispose of them securely.

Children

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information online. If a minor needs help with a ticket, a parent or guardian should contact us.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.

What you’ll receive. When you text us your ticket or give us your number, you agree to receive text messages from Amend My Ticket about your inquiry or case. These may include quotes, document requests, court dates, case updates, and payment links. We do not send marketing or promotional texts.

How often. Message frequency varies depending on your case.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile plan.

To stop. Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts. We’ll send one message confirming you’ve been unsubscribed. If you’re a current client, we’ll reach you by phone or email instead.
